- Requests for Escalation of Claims:
The GCCF has been receiving requests by claimants for
escalation of their claims in numbers that threaten the fairness of the
Program. In fairness to all claimants, the GCCF will review claims in
order of receipt of claims and will determine payment in order of
receipt of sufficient documentation to allow payment. The GCCF
recognizes the importance to claimants of quick and efficient
processing. However, the GCCF's policy is to treat all claimants
equally and therefore requests for escalation for specific claims will
not result in special treatment.
